The article investigates the phenomenon of social and cultural content of education. The basic functions of culture are descrided in the article. It is proved that culture is part of the content of education. By the delimitation of notions „civilization” and „culture” the main contents sociological and cultural characteristics of education are presented in the given article.

Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, defines the family as marriage of woman and man who have children. This definition should be perceived in the context of the Church's social teachings, the teaching of John Paul II and Benedict XVI in particular. In the sociological approach, the whole society is based on the family that is understood as the most important basic social group, as an intimate relationship, based on mutual feeling, cooperation and mutual responsibility; reinforcement of the internal relations and interactions are the main focus of the family. According to the systemic approach, the family should be treated as a system, in which a change in its one part brings on a change in its other parts. The presented study is considering the issues concerning the family as a social institution in the context of the following main points: 1. Family – sociological approach; 2. The idea of civil society; 3. Spheres of civil society.

W opracowaniu zostały przedstawione zmiany w metodologii nauk ekonomicznych ukazane w kontekście zmian zachodzących w filozofii nauki. Przegląd zmian w metodologii ekonomii dokonany został z uwzględnieniem znaczenia cezury przypadającej na lata 70./80. Wskazano na możliwe przyczyny tych zmian i ich skutki dla ekonomii. I tak w pierwszej części ukazane są zmiany w metodologii ekonomii do lat 70., w drugiej przedstawiono rolę przełomu w latach 70. i 80. i jego znaczenie dla dalszych zmian, które analizowane są w części trzeciej. W końcowej części ukazane są tendencje w rozwoju ekonomii oraz zarysowana zostaje wizja ekonomii przyszłości.

The paper presents the discussion on changes in methodology of economic sciences in the context of changes within philosophy of science. The review of changes in methodology of economy considers the significance of 1970s and 1980s, indicating the likely reasons for the changes and their effects for economy. And thus, the first part of the paper presents the changes in methodology till 1970s, the second one discusses the role of the 1970s-1980s breakthrough and its role in further changes analysed in the third part. The final part of the paper focuses on trends in the development of economy and envisages the economy of the future.
