Constitutional law forms positive legal aspect of constitutionalism. Election law is often seen as a sub-branch of the constitutional law and, at the same time, embodies (to a different degree) ideas of democracy. Correlation between democracy and constitutionalism is one of the most debating questions in contemporary legal science. It seems worth examining how this controversy exerts influence on the system of sources of election law as a part of a bigger system of constitutional law in the case of the Republic of Belarus.

В статье рассматривается место решений Конституционного Суда в правовой системе Республики Армения. Автор обосновывает, что указанные решения являются способом внутренней организации и внешнего выражения права, следовательно, являются источником права в Республике Армения. Более того, с точки зрения своих особенностей, решения Конституционного Суда РА существенно отличаются от моделей прецедента, существующих как в рамках Англо-американской, так и Романо-германской доктрин и являются особым источником права, имеющим нормативный характер.

The article considers the role of the Constitutional Court decisions in the RA legal system. The author substantiates that the mentioned decisions are means of internal organization and external expression of law, hence, they are a source of the RA law. Moreover, from the point of view of their peculiarities the RA Constitutional Court decisions essentially differ from the models of precedents existing both in the frames of the Anglo-American and the Romano-German doctrines and are a peculiar source of law with normative character.
