The aim of this paper is to analyse the current housing policy in Poland in terms of its influence on spatial order. The author discusses the relationship between housing policy and spatial order, as well as housing policy instruments that can contribute to shaping spatial order. The article presents the results of a quantitative study of documents and a qualitative study of selected housing complexes in Katowice, Warsaw and Wrocław treated as an outcome of the general state housing policy.
