Artykuł poświęcony jest zatrudnieniu socjalnemu. Jest ono przedstawione jako jedna ze współczesnych metod walki z wykluczeniem społecznym. Wpisuje się w założenia aktywnej polityki społecznej, a przede wszystkim dobrowolnej partycypacji, współdziałania i koncentracji wsparcia na osobach pogrążonych w ubóstwie i zdolnych do pracy osób. Autorka zwraca uwagę na niektóre dylematy dotyczące efektywności aktywizacji społecznej i zawodowej, skali i zróżnicowania terytorialnego.

The article concerns the issue of social employment. It is represented as a modern method of combating social exclusion, as a part of an activ social policy. Social employment is based above all on voluntary participation, collaboration and concentrating rescources on the support of people fit to work, but engulfed by poverty. The author pays the attention to certain dilemmas of the efficiency of social and professional activation, the scale and the territorial differentiation.
