Postawiona w artykule teza dotyczy sztucznego oraz nietrwałego charakteru sojuszu państw rozwijających się, wchodzących w skład grupy BRIC. Autor przytacza szereg dowodów na to, iż rzeczywista współpraca sojuszniczej piątki jest znikoma oraz ma nietrwały charakter, a różnice i sprzeczne interesy tych państw spowodują rozpad koalicji w perspektywie najbliższych lat.

The thesis of the title concerns the artificial and fleeting character of the alliance of the developing countries of BRIC. The author presents a range of evidence that the actual cooperation of the five is sparse and transitory, and that the differences and conflicting interests of these countries will result in the breaking of the coalition in the coming years.
