Celem artykułu jest uporządkowanie stanu wiedzy w zakresie ewolucji definicji pojęcia CSR poprzez analizę tematycznej literatury zagranicznej i polskiej. W niniejszej pracy prowadzone są rozważania dotyczące ewolucji pojęcia CSR w latach 1980-1989 oraz 1990-1999, które zwane są odpowiednio stadium operacji formalnych oraz późne stadium formalne. Artykuł stanowi czwarty z serii publikacji nt. „ewolucji pojęcia społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu”.

The aim of this article is to organize the state of knowledge in connection with the evolution of the definition of the concept of CSR. This time the study includes an analysis including years from 1980 to 1989 and 1990 to 1999. Those phases, respectively, are called formal operational stage and late formal operational stage. The article is the fourth from the series of works of the author concerning the evolution of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) relating to studies of foreign and Polish literature.
