The article presents the results from the research on the level of key competences for selected professions from IT sector. The analysis included 11 professions from the 2nd group of the Classification of Occupations and Specializations. The analysis has been carried out during the development of the National Professional Competences within the project B2.2 The development of a set of the National Professional Competences required by the employers.

W artykule zaprezentowano możliwość planowania kariery zawodowej w oparciu o kwalifikacyjne kursy zawodowe, które są elastycznym sposobem uzupełniania i poszerzania kwalifikacji poszukiwanych na rynku pracy. Kwalifikacyjne kursy zawodowe projektuje się zgodnie z Europejską i Polską Ramą Kwalifikacji (EQR),(PQR)w oparciu o podstawę programową kształcenia w zawodach i standardy kompetencji zawodowych. W tekście zawarto wyniki badań identyfikacji kompetencji zawodowych opisujących standard. Określone w standardzie kompetencje zawodowe, wiedza i umiejętności, są narzędziem do projektowania programów szkoleń.

The article presents the possibilities of professional career planning based on qualification vocational courses, which are a kind of flexible way for the completion and broadening qualifications, which are searched on the labour market. Qualification vocational courses are designed according to the European and the National Qualification Frameworks (EQF and NQF), with the use of curriculum basis for vocational education and professional competences standards. The article includes the research results on the identification of professional competences describing the standard. Professional competences, knowledge and skills specified in the standard makes tools for the design of training programmes.
