Tematem artykułu jest analiza stanu finansowego spółek oferujących usługi turystyczne, notowanych na GPW w Warszawie. Celem analizy była odpowiedź na pytanie, czy i w jakim zakresie pogorszył się stan finansowy spółek turystycznych w latach kryzysu ekonomicznego. Analiza podstawowych danych i wskaźników finansowych pozwala stwierdzić, że wszystkie spółki wykazały obniżenie rentowności w latach 2009 i 2010. Lata 2012, a w szczególności 2013 charakteryzują się powrotem na drogę ponownego, szybkiego wzrostu przychodów, zysków i rentowności.

The theme of the article is financial analysis of tourism companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2007–2012. The aim was to show how travel companies go through financial crisis. The basic values analyzed were: revenue, profit, equity, and indicators: profitability, liquidity and long-term debts. The analysis found that in all the companies financial situation has deteriorated in 2009–2010. The impact of the crisis depends on the segment of the tourism market. Preexisting financial condition and previous development strategy were also important. None of the surveyed companies do not have excessive debt, because they lead reasonable credit policy.
