Zagadnienia dotyczące relacji zachodzących między architekturą i naturą są od roku 1999 poruszane w cyklu wykładów prowadzonych w ramach przedmiotu "Teoria i zasady projektowania" dla roku pierwszego, w Katedrze Kształtowania Środowiska Mieszkaniowego. W wykładach znalazła miejsce również prezentacja zasad projektowania zrównoważonego, nazywanych zamiennie zasadami Green Architecture. W roku akademickim 2004–2005, w semestrze letnim, do programu ćwiczeń projektowych z przedmiotu Projektowanie Wstępne wprowadzono zadanie bezpośrednio odnoszące się do zasad projektowania zrównoważonego.

Issues concerning relationships between architecture and nature have been discussed since 1999 in a series of lectures within the subject Introduction to architectural and urban design - Theory for the first year at the Chair of Housing Environment. The lectures also include a presentation of the principles of sustainable design, alternatively called the principles of Green Architecture. In the summer semester of the academic year 2004/2005, an assignment relating directly to the principles of sustainable design was introduced to the programme of designing exercises in the subject Introduction to architectural and urban design.
