W artykule analizuje się zjawisko studiowania pozorowanego na przykładzie zjawiska ściągania i plagiaryzmu wśród studentów. Autorka na podstawie teoretycznych założeń studiowania, ich celów, cech, a także dostępnych badań, odnosi się do tego, w jaki sposób studenci pojmują studiowanie, czym ono dla nich jest, co myślą o tym procesie, jaki jest cel studiów. Ze względu na postawy przyjmowane przez studentów wobec uczelni i studiowania określa je mianem studiowania pozorowanego. Punktem odniesienia i jednocześnie przykładem takiej postawy jest powszechne w szkołach wyższych ściąganie i plagiaryzm.

The article analyzes the phenomenon of pretend studying on the example of cheating and plagiarism among students. The author, on the basis of theoretical assumptions of the study, it’s goals, characteristics and available research, refers to how students perceive what they are studying, what they think about the process, what is the purpose of study. Due to the attitudes taken by the students towards the university and their studies, they are referred to as pretend studying. The point of reference and at the same time an example of such an attitude is the widespread cheating and plagiarism in higher education.

Zalew informacji, jaki dokonuje się w ostatnich latach dzięki powszechności Internetu i cyfrowych środków komunikacji, zmienia wszystkie dziedziny życia. Dokonują się przemiany globalizacyjne, które dotyczą zarówno gospodarki, polityki, kultury, jak i codziennego życia każdego człowieka. Dotyczą one także konieczności uczenia się przez całe życie. Współcześnie na uczelniach mamy przedstawicieli kilku generacji. Prezentują oni różne postawy wobec studiowania, które wynikają ze społeczno-ekonomicznych czynników rozwoju studentów oraz ich umiejętności zarządzania wiedzą.

Thanks to the prevalence of the internet and digital means of communication which has been ongoing in recent years, information overload changes all areas of life. Globalization is taking place, which applies both to the economy, politics or culture and to daily life of every human being. It also focuses on the need for lifelong learning. Today, universities have representatives from several generations. They present different attitudes toward studies, which stems from socio-economic factors affecting the development of students and their knowledge management abilities.
