Subjective education and the work of teachers and pupils grow from the opposition against the behaviorist concept and draws inspiration from the assumptions of humanistic pedagogy. In the course of the pedagogical artistic work the teacher discovers him/herself and others, and his/her and their possibilities. S/he actually tries to find a way of making contact with him/herself and others and with finding him/her and others. The work of the creative teacher is reflective; it takes place in full consciousness for their achievement of the goals. Results of the work of the creative teacher are new, previously not perceived as essential, different from the ones which were planned. These features of the artistic work are characteristic of guidelines of the subjective education.

Edukacja przedmiotowa i praca nauczycieli z uczniami bierze swój początek z opozycji przeciwko konceptom behawioralnym i czerpie inspirację z założeń psychologii humanistycznej. W trakcie pedagogicznej pracy artystycznej nauczyciel odkrywa nie tylko talenty swoich uczniów, ale również swoje zdolności artystyczne i swoje wewnętrzne „ja”. W rzeczywistości stara się on znaleźć sposób na odnalezienie samego siebie przez komunikowanie się ze swoim wewnętrznym „ja” oraz innymi ludźmi poprzez sztukę. Prace tworzone przez kreatywnego nauczyciela wynikają z refleksji odzwierciedlających jego świadomość, cele i pragnienia, które są dla niego najważniejsze. Wyniki badań nad pracą kreatywnego nauczyciela, które przedtem nie były postrzegane jako znaczące, różnią się od postawionych hipotez. Przedstawione cele pracy artystycznej są wytycznymi dla edukacji przedmiotowej.
