In the article, the author presents highly emotionally charged names of people with prevailing negative emotions. There are lexemes describing a vain, lazy, and slow man working in the Polish Lvov region. The material basis for the analysis are words of native and foreign origin, typical of this dialect.

Przedmiotem artykułu są ekspresywne nazwy osób o wysokim ładunku emocjonalnym, głównie negatywnym. Są to leksemy określające w gwarze polskiej obwodu lwowskiego człowieka próżnego, leniwego, powolnego oraz wolno pracującego. Podstawę materiałową analizy stanowią wyrazy rodzime i pochodzenia obcego, typowe dla tej gwary.

The article presents personal nouns from poems written by the Masurians in the second half of the nineteenth century and separates derived and underived nouns. The derived names of people (deverbative and denominative mutant derivatives as well as denominatives modificational derivatives) are grouped accordingly to the type of derivation. Suffixal and paradigmatic derivatives are also separated.
