The empirical study investigated to what extent the implementation of the dPMAT model (a didactic approach to supporting pupils with learning difficulties in mathematics) contributed to the qualification of teachers for the implementation of support to pupils with learning difficulties in mathematics. 80 mathematics teachers and 101 generalist teachers completed a questionnaire through which they rated the impact of the dPMAT model on their knowledge and skills in relation to the teaching and learning of students with difficulties in learning mathematics. The mathematics teachers assessed the contribution of the model to their skills in the selection and design of appropriate teaching aids (M = 4.1, Sd = 0.8) and in the recognition and identification of learning difficulties the highest (M = 4.0, Sd = 0.8). The generalist teachers assessed the contribution of the model to their skills in facilitating the use of appropriate teaching aids the highest (M = 4.0, Sd = 1.1).

W artykule dokonano analizy niektórych czynników oddziałujących na innowacyjności konkurencyjność gospodarek. Badania prowadzono w odniesieniu do wybranych krajów Unii Europejskiej, a także Stanów Zjednoczonych, Chin, Indii oraz Rosji. Analizowano następujące czynniki: – poziom nakładów i źródła finansowania działalności B+R; – rodzaje oraz przeznaczenie instrumentów wspierania innowacyjności; – powiązania pomiędzy kierunkami badań uznanymi za priorytetowe, sektorami, które mają największy wkład w kreowanie innowacji oraz sektorami "high-tech". Ponadto, wskazano główne charakterystyki analizowanych czynników, które decydują o zachowaniu zdolności konkurencyjnych gospodarki w długim okresie.

The paper analyses some of the factors that have an impact on the innovation and competitiveness of economies. The factors include: – level and sources of R&D funding, – types and purpose of existing public measures for innovation, – correlation between national R&D priorities, high-tech industries and sectors with highest expenditure on innovation. The following countries are analysed: Switzerland, Sweden, United States, Germany, Great Britain, France, China, India, Russia, Czech Republic, and Poland. Also indicated are the key challenges with regard to each of the studied factors that need to be addressed in order to ensure the ability of an economy to innovate and compete in the long term.

Spain is one of the signatory countries of Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) from 2006. The present article undertakes to analyse the impact of the CRPD on the Spanish legislation, especially the Act 8/2021 from 2 June 2021 on the reform of civil and procedural legislation in support of persons with disabilities. Special attention will be given to the access to jurisdiction of persons with disabilities. Another central point is the reform of Article 49 of the Spanish Constitution which – though with good intention – declares is it a national objective – to dismount the discrimination of persons with “reduced” (disminuidos) abilities.

Hiszpania jest jednym z krajów sygnatariuszy Konwencji o prawach osób niepełnosprawnych (CRPD) z 2006 r. Niniejszy artykuł podejmuje próbę analizy wpływu Konwencji o prawach osób niepełnosprawnych na ustawodawstwo hiszpańskie, w szczególności ustawę 8/2021 z 2.06.2021 r. o reformie ustawodawstwa cywilnego i proceduralnego w celu wspierania osób niepełnosprawnych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na dostęp osób niepełnosprawnych do ochrony w postępowaniach przed organami władzy publicznej. Kolejnym centralnym punktem jest reforma art. 49 hiszpańskiej konstytucji, który – choć w dobrej intencji – deklaruje jako narodowy cel zlikwidowanie dyskryminacji osób o „ograniczonych” (disminuidos) zdolnościach.
