Zgodnie z dobrymi praktykami oraz przepisami obowiązującego prawa uczelnie mają obowiązek formułowania sylwetek absolwenta, które powinny charakteryzować m.in. cel kształcenia danego programu studiów. W artykule wskazano na problemy związane z formułowaniem celów kształcenia, które powinny odpowiadać zapotrzebowaniu rynku pracy oraz wymogom stawianym przez Krajowe Ramy Kwalifikacyjne.

In accordance with the compulsory legal rules and practices, universities are obliged to formulate the graduate’s profiles, which should characterise the aim of education for a particular major. This article points to the problems connected with formulating of educational aims which should fulfill the demands of labour market and the requirements to be met in order to conform to the Polish Qualifications Framework.

The National Qualifications Framework introduced as a part of the higher education reform in 2011 imposed on HEIs an obligation to commence works on study programmes. An important change was remodelling study programmes with paying special attention to knowledge, skills and competences. These works were closely related with the development of graduate’s profile, whichprovided for the new philosophy underpinning the drafting of study programmes and which took into consideration the requirements of the modern labour market. The establishment of the graduate’sprofile constitutes one of the most important elements of the development of study programmes. Learning outcomes for a given field of study, which reflect the requirements of modern labourmarket, are important determinants for the establishment of the graduate’s profile. In order to adapt the process of education to labour market needs, the reform of higher education strengthens the role of employers by obliging HEIs to establish councils, in which they sit. The reform has resulted in the new approach to the teaching process and the introduction of the graduate’s profile, which should meet the requirements of the modern labour market.

Krajowe Ramy Kwalifikacji wprowadzone w ramach reformy szkolnictwa wyższego z 2011 r. nałożyły na uczelnie obowiązek podjęcia prac nad programami kształcenia. Ważną zmianą było przemodelowanie programów pod kątem wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji. Prace te związane były ściśle z opracowaniem sylwetki absolwenta, uwzględniającej nową filozofię tworzenia programów oraz oczekiwania współczesnego rynku pracy. Opracowanie sylwetki absolwenta stanowi jeden z ważniejszych etapów przygotowania programu kształcenia oraz efektów kształcenia dla danego kierunku. Odzwierciedlają one potrzeby współczesnego rynku pracy. W celu dostosowywania procesu kształcenia do rynku pracy reforma szkolnictwa wzmocniła rolę pracodawców poprzez nałożenie na uczelnie obowiązku tworzenia konwentu. Reforma spowodowała konieczność nowego spojrzenia na proces dydaktyczny, w tym sylwetkę absolwenta, która powinna odpowiadać potrzebom współczesnego europejskiego rynku pracy.
