The article presents the characteristics of interviewing persons who witnessed an aircraft accident, as well as procedures of obtaining information from them by members of Commissions investigating the accident, and officials conducting preparatory proceedings. In order to illustrate the role and significance of the interviews, the Authors include examples of employing witnesses’ testimonies in the reconstruction of the course of flight during which an accident took place, and determination of causes and circumstances of its occurrence.

W artykule przedstawiono specyfikę przesłuchań osób będących świadkami wypadku lotniczego oraz pozyskiwania od nich informacji przez członków komisji badających wypadek oraz funkcjonariuszy prowadzących postępowania przygotowawcze. W celu zilustrowania roli i znaczenia przesłuchań w tekście zaprezentowano kilka przykładów wykorzystania zeznań świadków do odtworzenia przebiegu lotu, podczas którego doszło do wypadku, oraz określenia przyczyn i okoliczności jego zaistnienia.
