W artykule przedstawiono słownictwo związane z rodziną, odnotowane przez Halinę Zgółkową w trzech Listach haseł… do słowników1, oraz skonfrontowano jego występowanie w podręcznikach HURRA!!! PO POLSKU 1, 2 i 3. Okazało się, że pole leksykalno-semantyczne rodziny nie ma bogatej reprezentacji w podręcznikach z serii HURRA!!!. Przedstawiono również kilka definicji kompetencji komunikacyjnej oraz problemy związane z nauczaniem słownictwa. Zwrócono uwagę na to, w jaki sposób tematy lekcji związane z leksyką i semantyką rodzinną wpływają na nauczanie oraz nabywanie kompetencji komunikacyjnej.

The article discusses vocabulary connected with family. It examines the occurrence of this vocabulary in Polish language teaching textbooks HURRA!!! PO POLSKU 1, 2 and 3. Some attention was also paid to how the lesson topics connected with family influence the teaching process and the process of developing the communication competence.
