The Russian factor poses a real threat to the national security of Ukraine and Poland. The Russian expansion includes the dismemberment of the Ukrainian and Polish territories and formation of weak, non-viable and quasi-public entities there which would be dependent on Moscow. One of the important features of Russian strategy is to undermine national unity of Ukrainian and Polish societies within the countries, neutralize strategic partnership between our countries and to provoke a new Ukrainian-Polish conflict. Russia’s neo-imperialist policy is substantiated by A. Dugin's neo-Eurasian geopolitical doctrine. The analysis of the doctrine makes it possible to forecast the Russian policy towards Ukraine, Poland, European Union and the USA and to work out an effective counterstrategy. Deepening the Ukrainian-Polish equal partnership and joint efforts to neutralize and dismantle Russian imperial social system should become the response to common threat to the national security of Ukraine and Poland. Without taking such drastic measures the national security of Ukraine, Poland and other countries will always be at constant threat.

The article presents the institutional development of the system for the protection of national security in the Republic of Lithuania. The publication reveals the prevailing concepts of national security and describes the notions of national security established in Lithuanian legal regulation. The first view of security is that a traditional policy of security is based on the idea that all the members of society or individual interests are subordinate to the interest of the state. On the other hand, the theory of human security can be defined as giving priority to the security of the individual, and it states that human security is achieved only when basic material needs are met and meaningful participation in the life of the community and human dignity are realised. Further, the development of the institutions securing the national security of Lithuania are described from the period from 1990 when the Republic of Lithuania restored independence until the present time. Additionally, it reveals the existing concept of national security in the Lithuanian Republic, and describes the main threats to Lithuanian national security, dividing these into military, political and socio-economic sectors, and indicates measures taken to combat them. After carrying out an analysis of the Acts forming the national security policy in Lithuania and other related legal Acts it can be concluded that the dominant perception of Lithuanian national security is a broad concept of national security with strong emphasis on human security issues.

The current state of shadowing of the labour market is a threatening trend in national security of Ukraine, as it directly affects the socio-economic development of society. Shadow employment is considered as illegal involvement of an employee in economic activities by the employer. In view of this, we substantiate that the labour market with its destructive development may endanger the vital national interests of Ukraine as it covers the entire working population of the state and forms the economic potential of the state. With the help of PESTL-analysis, in order to identify large-scale problems of the labour market, the range of factors shadowing the labour and employment market, including political; economic; socio-demographic; regulatory. The study shows that the negative and destructive impact of these factors extends not only to the labour and employment market, but also to the economy, social protection, demographic situation and social development of Ukraine as a whole, which threatens the national security of Ukraine.

W celu zidentyfikowania wielkoskalowych problemów rynku pracy, szeregu czynników zacieniających rynek pracy i zatrudnienie, w tym regulacje polityczne, gospodarcze, społeczno-demograficzne, zastosowano analizę PESTL.
