The objective of the article is an analysis of the main approaches to the relationship between time and eternity developed within the philosophy of nature. I distinguish and consider theistic, Heraclitean (processualist), Parmenidean (permanentist), Democritic (substantialist) and Pythagorean-Platonic (mathematical) models. Then I discuss the chosen models in the light of the cosmology of the Big Bang. Translated by Dorota Chabrajska
