Krajowy Fundusz Szkoleniowy (KFS) został utworzony w 2014 r. jako wydzielona część Funduszu Pracy. Jego istotą jest wsparcie kształcenia ustawicznego pracodawców i pracowników podejmowanego z inicjatywy lub za zgodą pracodawcy. W artykule dokonano analizy funkcjonowania tego instrumentu na podstawie badań przeprowadzonych wśród wojewódzkich i powiatowych urzędów pracy w 2024 r., a więc instytucji dystrybuujących jego środki. Analizę uzupełniają uwarunkowania legislacyjne oraz dane administracyjne pochodzące ze sprawozdań publicznych służb zatrudnienia. W artykule podjęto próbę oceny, czy kierunki i założenia działań finansowanych z KFS zostały prawidłowo zaprojektowane oraz czy przynoszą wymierne rezultaty dla rynku pracy

The National Training Fund (KFS) was established in 2014 as a separate part of the Labor Fund. Its essence is to support continuing education of employers and employees undertaken on the initiative or with the consent of the employer. The article analyses the functioning of this instrument on the basis of surveys conducted among voivodeship and district labour offices in 2024, i.e. the institutions distributing its funds. The analysis is complemented by legislative conditions and administrative data from public employment service reports. The article attempts to assess whether the directions and assumptions of activities financed from the KFS have been properly designed and whether they bring measurable results for the labour market.
