Artykuł jest poświęcony badaniom systemu wartości i sposobu ich rozumienia przez młodzież szkół gimnazjalnych. W celu rekonstrukcji typów i hierarchii wartości wykorzystano badania ankietowe przeprowadzone w grupie 110 respondentów. W wyniku analiz materiału badawczego stwierdzono, iż młodzież rozumie sens konkretnej wartości, a najwyższe miejsca w rankingu wartości zajmują: rodzina, przyjaciele i zdrowie.

The article is devoted to the study of the value system and the way values are understood by junior high school students. A survey of 110 respondents was used to reconstruct types and hierarchies of values. Results of the analysis of the research material conclude that young people understand the meaning of a particular value, and the top places in the ranking of values are: family, friends and health.
