The idea of waste is used by left thinking authors rather incidentally. In the text author tries to conceptualise category of waste and shows main critical moments when waste phenomenon is actualized. Hereby the idea of waste is introduced to left thought dictionary. Author underlines two main areas of waste in modern capitalism. First is commodity waste which is caused by too big supply and/or demand. Second is waste of labour force. It includes such phenomena as unemployment, house work and ineffective work. Author concludes that capitalism is wasteful economical system. Although we can not think abut systems that are not wasteful at all because it does not exist. We can analyse level of waste and its function. In capitalist society its function is maintenance of principle of profit and private property.

Currently, in Poland, the assessment of milk performance of cows is carried out by the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeding and Milk Producers. It associates individual breeders, state-owned farms, state-owned and private companies, cooperative and leased farms. It operates throughout the country. It was established as a result of the merger of regional organizations of cattle breeders and provincial cattle breeders and producers. Initially (since 1995), it operated under the name of the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders, and since 2003 under the full name of the Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Milk Producers (PFHBiPM).

Obecnie w Polsce oceną użytkowości mlecznej krów zajmuje się Polska Federacja Hodowli Bydła i Producentów Mleka. Zrzesza ona hodowców indywidualnych, gospodarstwa państwowe, spółki Skarbu Państwa i prywatne, gospodarstwa spółdzielcze oraz dzierżawione. Działa na terenie całego kraju. Powstała z połączenia regionalnych organizacji hodowców bydła i wojewódzkich hodowców i producentów bydła. Początkowo (od 1995 r.), funkcjonowała pod nazwą Polskiej Federacji Hodowców Bydła, a od 2003 r. pod pełną nazwą Polskiej Federacji Ho-dowców Bydła i Producentów Mleka (PFHBiPM).
