The article concerns the place of crisis management in the national security system. The article contains the opinions of the national security system published in the White Book on National Security of the Republic Of Poland, the analysis of the crisis situation within the meaning of the Act of 26 April 2007 on Crisis Management and the comparison with typical and extraordinary threats.
