Artykuł poświęcony jest prezentacji neuromięśniowych metod wspierających terapię logopedyczną pacjentów z dyzartrią w zespole Moebiusa, a także przybliżeniu samego zespołu Moebiusa – jego etiopatogenezy, patomechanizmu i symptomatologii. Zaprezentowane w artykule metody terapii: kinezjotaping logopedyczny, ustno-twarzowa terapia regulacyjna C. Moralesa oraz elektrostymulacja, zostały scharakteryzowane w aspekcie logopedycznym z uwzględnieniem odmiennego sposobu oddziaływań każdej z nich na regulację neuromięśniową. Zastosowanie tych metod wpływa na regulację napięcia mięśniowego muskulatury twarzy, polepszenie pracy artykulatorów, mechanikę żuchwy, jakość oddechu, przyczyniając się tym samym do zmniejszenia dysfunkcji na poziomie oddechowo-fonacyjno-artykulacyjnym.

The aim of the article is to present neuromuscular methods supporting logopedic therapy for the patients with dysarthria in Moebius syndrome and to depict Moebius syndrome: its etiopathogenesis, pathomechanism and symptomatology. The therapy methods which were presented in the article: logopedic kinesiotaping, oro-facial regulation therapy described by C.Morales and electrical stimulation, were considered in the logopedic aspects with reference to the differences of influence of each method on neuromuscular regulation. The use of these methods has an impact on the facial muscle tone regulation, improvement of the articulators, mandibular mechanics, respiration quality, and, as a result, influences the decrease of the dysfunctions in the respiratory, phonatory and articulatory apparatus.

The purpose of the presented research is to evaluate the speech therapy measures taken and determine how therapy using elements of the R. Castillo Morales concept influences the regulation of muscle tone, the development of primitive activities in the oro-facial-pharyngeal complex and the level of language and communication skills and abilities of a child with MPD. This paper is a case study of an 11-year-old girl with MPD and resulting resulting from it coupled disabilities (motor and intellectual). Based on the speech therapy examination chart proposed by D. Pluta-Wojciechowska, basic data about the child were collected, a detailed interview was conducted, anatomical and functional conditions were assessed, physiological breathing and during speaking were evaluated. Using the Test Rozwoju Językowego by M. Smoczyńska et al. passive and active language knowledge was assessed. The publication of M. Grycman Sprawdź, jak się porozumiewam was used to assess the communication skills of a child with complex communication disorders. The article characterizes the speech of people with MPD and speech therapy using the concept of Rodolfo Castillo Morales. Against this background, the results of our own research with an 11-year-old girl with MPD are presented. The results of the scientific analysis show the speech therapy diagnosis of the subject by using therapy with elements of the R. Castillo Morales method, describe the course of therapeutic interactions and the areas in which changes occurred. After using in speech therapy elements of the method of R. Castillo Morales, the study girl showed significant improvements in primitive activities, attention span, motivation for communication and speech development. The research results show that the use of elements of the R. Castillo Morales method in the speech therapy of a child with CP is justified and supports the child’s development in many aspect.

Celem prezentowanych badań jest określenie, w jaki sposób terapia z wykorzystaniem elementów koncepcji R. Castillo Moralesa wpływa na regulację napięcia mięśniowego, rozwój czynności prymarnych w kompleksie ustno-twarzowo-gardłowym oraz poziom umiejętności i sprawności językowo-komunikacyjnych dziecka z MPD. Niniejsza praca to studium przypadku 11-letniej dziewczynki z MPD i wynikającą z niego niepełnosprawnością sprzężoną (ruchową i intelektualną). W oparciu o kartę badania logopedycznego D. Pluty-Wojciechowskiej zebrano podstawowe dane o dziecku, przeprowadzono szczegółowy wywiad, dokonano oceny warunków anatomiczno-czynnościowych, oceny oddychania w stanie spoczynku i podczas fonacji. Przy pomocy Testu Rozwoju Językowego M. Smoczyńskiej i wsp. dokonano oceny wiedzy językowej biernej i czynnej. Publikacja M. Grycman Sprawdź, jak się porozumiewam posłużyła ocenie umiejętności porozumiewania się dziecka ze złożonymi zaburzeniami komunikacji. W artykule scharakteryzowano mowę osób z MPD oraz terapię logopedyczną z wykorzystaniem koncepcji R.C. Moralesa. Na tym tle zaprezentowano wyniki badań własnych. Po wykorzystaniu w terapii logopedycznej elementów metody R. Castillo Moralesa u badanej dziewczynki zaobserwowano znaczną poprawę w zakresie czynności prymarnych, czasu koncentracji uwagi, motywacji do komunikacji i rozwój mowy. Wyniki badań pokazują, iż wykorzystanie elementów metody R. Castillo Moralesa w terapii logopedycznej dziecka z MPD jest zasadne i wieloaspektowo wspiera rozwój pacjenta.
