Broadly speaking, the development of poetry proceeds from an oral form, possibly accompanied by an instrument, to a written form. The invention of printing and the emergence of institutions such as publishing houses and bookstores gave written poetry a great status. The oral form remained but was limited to being read out or recited from the paper form. In order to bring this to a successful conclusion, rules were developed that the reading poet or performance artist had to comply with. This situation persisted into the 1960s. Presenting poetry on stage evolved after 1945 and led to radical changes in the art of performance in various phases. The question is whether this has led to a completely different type of poetry and whether the importance of the literary magazine still exists. And what are the consequences of these developments for the presentation of the texts themselves?

Rozwój poezji, w najogólniejszym zarysie, przebiega od formy ustnej, niekiedy z towarzyszeniem instrumentu muzycznego, do pisanej. Wynalezienie druku i pojawienie się takich instytucji, jak wydawnictwa i księgarnie, podniosło prestiż poezji pisanej. Forma ustna wprawdzie pozostała, lecz ograniczała się do odczytywania lub recytowania tekstu pisanego. Aby nie tylko zapobiec atrofii, lecz także podnieść poziom głośnego wykonywania utworów poetyckich opracowano reguły, których musiał przestrzegać czytający poeta lub wykonawca. Sytuacja ta utrzymywała się do lat 60. XX wieku. Prezentowanie poezji na scenie rozwinęło się po 1945 roku i doprowadziło etapami do radykalnych zmian w sztuce głośnego wykonywania utworu poetyckiego. Autor artykułu poszukuje odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy doprowadziło to do powstania zupełnie innej poezji oraz czy pismo literackie jako instytucja zachowało swoje znaczenie. Zastanawia się także nad przemianami w zakresie sposobu prezentacji tekstu poetyckiego.

In grote lijnen verloopt de ontwikkeling van poëzie van een orale vorm, eventueel door een instrument begeleid, naar een geschreven vorm. Door de uitvinding van de boekdrukkunst en het ontstaan van instituties als uitgeverijen en boekhandels kreeg geschreven poëzie een grote status. De orale vorm bleef bestaan, maar beperkte zich tot het voorlezen of voordragen van de papieren vorm. Om dat tot een goed einde te brengen werden regels ontwikkeld waaraan de voorlezende dichter of voordrachtskunstenaar moest voldoen. Deze situatie bleef voortbestaan tot in de jaren zestig van de vorige eeuw. Het presenteren van poëzie op het podium heeft na 1945 een ontwikkeling doorgemaakt en hebben in verschillende fases tot ingrijpende veranderingen in de voordrachtskunst geleid. De vraag is of dit geleid heeft tot geheel andere poëzie en of het belang van het literaire tijdschrift nog bestaat. En welke consequenties hebben de ontwikkelingen in de voordracht voor de teksten?
