W artykule zostaną omówione polskie zabiegi dyplomatyczne w państwach ententy, a szczególnie we Francji, na rzecz włączenia sprawy niepodległości Polski do celów wojennych sprzymierzonych. Polskie działania zostaną skonfrontowane z polityką wschodnią Francji w 1917 r., a szczególnie z traceniem przez nią rosyjskiego alianta i znaczeniem tego faktu dla spraw polskich. Zapoczątkowało to drogę do zawartego w 1921 r. polsko-francuskiego sojuszu polityczno-wojskowego.The article presents Polish diplomatic efforts in the Entente states, in particular France, to include Polish independence to the war aims of the Allies. Polish actions are confronted with the eastern policy of France in 1917, especially in the face of France losing its Russian ally and all significances of the fact for the Polish cause. This paved way for the Polish-French political and military alliance signed in 1921.
