Wstęp. Jednym z najistotniejszych aspektów analizy przebiegu porodu w wodzie jest ocena stanu pourodzeniowego noworodka. Bezpieczeństwo płodu i noworodka jest priorytetem opieki okołoporodowej współczesnego położnictwa. Wyniki badań. Ocena pH krwi pępowinowej wyniosła średnio 7,29. W grupie badanych noworodków znacząca większość uzyskała 9 punktów w skali Apgar, w poszczególnych jednostkach czasu. Nie zaobserwowano statystycznie istotnej współzależności oceny noworodków w skali Apgar i pH krwi pępowinowej z wiekiem ciąży. Nie zaobserwowano statystycznie istotnej współzależności oceny noworodków w skali Apgar z wiekiem rodzących. Wnioski. Ocena w skali Apgar i pH krwi pępowinowej wykazała na dobry stan pourodzeniowy noworodków urodzonych w wodzie. Brak jest statystycznie istotnej współzależności oceny noworodków w skali Apgar i pH krwi pępowinowej z wiekiem ciąży w badanych podgrupach.

Background. One of the most important aspects of the analysis of the birth in water is to assess the postnatal newborn. Safety of fetus and newborn child is a priority of perinatal care of the contemporary obstetrics. Results. The evaluation of cord blood pH was average 7.29. In the study group of newborns, the vast majority received 9 points in the Apgar score (in the respective units of time). There was no statistically signiicant correlation between the age of pregnancy and the evaluation of newborn Apgar score or umbilical cord blood pH. Moreover, there was no statistically significant correlation between the evaluation of newborn Apgar score and the age of women giving birth. Conclusions. The evaluation of Apgar score and umbilical cord blood pH showed a good postnatal state of newborns, who was born in the water. There is no statistically significant correlation between the evaluation of newborns’ Apgar score or umbilical cord blood pH and the age of pregnancy in the study subgroups.
