Analityczny proces hierarchii jako metoda rozwiązywania problemów decyzyjnych

The article discusses the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a tool for solving the multicriteria decision problems. AHP, developed in the late 1980s by Saaty as a multicriteria decision model of the technological choice, has been widely used since then in various fields of economics and social sciences. The main strength of the model is that it allows for using both quantitative and qualitative, measurable and intuitive, objective and subjective judgements as the input for the final decision on the chosen alternative. Due to such flexibility AHP can be used for solving numerous types of problems encountered by firms and banks. However, there exists also a list of reservations about some weak points of the method. Part of the problems has already been addressed, but a further improvement would still be advisable. The article contains also a simple numerical example of the AHP procedure aimed at explaining the sense of the method to the reader.

W artykule omówiona jest metoda analitycznego procesu hierarchii (AHP) jako narzędzia rozwiązywania wielokryterialnych problemów decyzyjnych. Metoda ta, rozwinięta w końcu lat osiemdziesiątych przez Saatiego w celu wspierania decyzji dotyczących wyboru technologii, od tego czasu stosowana była na różnych polach nauk ekonomicznych i społecznych. Największą zaletą metody AHP jest to, że pozwala ona na używanie różnego typu ocen: mierzalnych i niemierzalnych, obiektywnych i subiektywnych, opartych na pomiarze i intuicji jako danych wejściowych do dokonania wyboru. Dzięki tak dużej elastyczności metoda AHP może być używana do rozwiązywania wielu problemów napotykanych przez przedsiębiorstwa i banki. Należy jednak zwrócić uwagę na szereg zastrzeżeń, które mogą być formułowane pod adresem AHP. Mimo prac nad usprawnieniem metody, część z zastrzeżeń nadal pozostaje aktualna. Artykuł zawiera też przykład numeryczny, zapoznający czytelnika z praktycznym wykorzystaniem metody.
