The article summarizes panel discussions led at the Polish Scientific Networks conference. It covers the topics of social and (un)social innovations, their sources, and applications, as well as the new approaches to the concept of the wisdom of the crowds (as opposed to swarm mentality). The article draws on academic research on trust and distrust, declining reliance on formal expertise and a turn against the science, and posttruth society phenomenon. The article concludes with observations about risk aversion in different cultures, to suggest some practical solutions in education programs, needed to address the challenges of the future.

Crowdsourcing w biznesie

The aim of the article is to show the benefits of implementing ventures using the collective intelligence of online communities. The article was written based on a literature review. The author brings closer and systematizes the concept of crowdsourcing. There are identified factors that favor him and those that can limit the process and its effectiveness. The research shows that crowdsourcing is becoming an important trend in the collaborative economy through driving innovation, increasing the level of effectiveness of task implementation and allowing to achieve a better competitive position on the market.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie korzyści z realizacji przedsięwzięć przy wykorzystaniu zbiorowej inteligencji społeczności internetowych. Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy. Autorka przybliża i jednocześnie systematyzuje pojęcie crowdsourcingu. Identyfikuje czynniki mu sprzyjające oraz te, które mogą ograniczać przebieg procesu i jego efektywność. Z przedstawionych analiz wynika, że crowdsourcing staje się istotnym trendem w gospodarce współpracy, napędzającym innowacje, podnoszącym poziom efektywności realizacji zadań oraz pozwalającym osiągnąć lepszą pozycję konkurencyjną na rynku.
