Depuis les débuts du christianisme, le devoir et le droit de l’éducation à la foi chrétienne appartiennent à la Sainte Église. Mais on rappelle souvent aux parents chrétiens qu’il leur appartient d’abord d’assurer l’éducation chrétienne de leurs enfants selon la doctrine transmise par l’Église. Face à une telle tâche éducative familiale, une méthodologie adéquate est également indispensable. Cet article montre comment l’éducation à la foi chrétienne se fait dans la famille chrétienne rwandaise: de cette façon, elle peut aider tous ceux qui veulent former, équiper et perfectionner les enfants, les jeunes et les adultes pour servir le Seigneur dans leurs différentes sphères d’action.

Since the beginnings of Christianity the duty and the right of education of the Christian faith belongs to the Holy Church. But Christian parents are often reminded that it is up to them first to ensure the Christian education of their children according to the doctrine transmitted by the Church. Faced with such a family educational task, adequate methodology is also required. This article shows how Christian faith education is done in Rwandan Christian family. In this way it can help all those who want to train, equip and improve children, young people and adults to serve the Lord in their different spheres of action.

Od początków chrześcijaństwa Kościół ma prawo i obowiązek wychowywania ochrzczonych w wierze chrześcijańskiej. Powinność ta spoczywa w głównej mierze na rodzicach, zobowiązanych do wychowania dzieci według doktryny przekazanej przez Kościół. Aby sprostać temu obowiązkowi edukacji młodego pokolenia, rodzice winni postępować według odpowiedniej metody wychowawczej. W artykule ukazano, jak przebiega proces wychowania w wierze chrześcijańskiej w rodzinie rwandyjskiej. Na tym przykładzie można poddać głębokiej analizie wymagania, potrzeby oraz środki konieczne do odpowiedzialnego formowania zarówno dzieci, jak i dorosłych w duchu odpowiedzialności za Kościół.
