The author presents the basic issues concerning various forms of impediments in the production of dental phonemes, which are called lateral lisp in speech therapy. The author makes assumptions related to the fundamental aspects of the management of dyslalia, based on the latest results of research on disorders of phoneme realization of anatomical and / or functional ethology. One also refers to the name “lateral lisp”, and explains the mechanism of this type of disorder, at the same time taking into account the analyses of other authors.

Autorka przedstawia podstawowe zagadnienia dotyczące różnych form zaburzeń realizacji fonemów dentalizowanych, które są nazywane w logopedii seplenieniem bocznym. Przyjmuje założenia związane z fundamentalnymi aspektami postępowania w przypadku dyslalii, opierając się na najnowszych wynikach badań zaburzeń realizacji fonemów o etiologii anatomicznej i/lub czynnościowej. Odnosi się do nazwy „seplenienie boczne”, a także objaśnia mechanizm tego typu zaburzeń, jednocześnie uwzględniając analizy innych autorów.
