Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań własnych, które pokazują jakie czynniki wskazują na tendencje samobójcze oraz jaki obowiązek spoczywa na grupie społecznej dotyczący – profilaktyki presuicydalnej – uprzedzającej, ukierunkowanej na kręgi społeczne najbliższe wzrastającej jednostki (głownie na rodzinę), a także na opinię publiczną w celu obalenia mitów i stereotypów i wytworzenia postaw pozytywnych wobec osób cierpiących.

The article presents the research results showing what factors influence the suicidal tendencies and what is the duty of a social group concerning the pre-suicidal prophylaxis, directed to the closest social circles of an individual (mostly the family), as well as the public opinion, in order to debunk myths and stereotypes and creating positive approaches towards the suffering people.
