The aim of the article is to describe ways of diagnosing children's artistic abilities in early childhood education. One feels the need to recognize and develop artistic talents because they affect intellectual, emotional and social development as well as imagination and creativity. The text presents various tools important for recognizing artistic talents and used among children in Slovakia, Ukraine, Slovenia and Poland.

Celem artykułu jest próba opisania sposobów diagnozowania uzdolnień plastycznych dzieci w edukacji wczesnoszkolnej. Odczuwa się potrzebę rozpoznawania i rozwijania uzdolnień plastycznych ponieważ wpływają one na rozwój intelektualny, emocjonalny, społeczny oraz wyobraźnię i kreatywność. Tekst ukazuje różnorodne narzędzia istotne dla rozpoznawania uzdolnień plastycznych i stosowane wśród dzieci na Słowacji, Ukrainie, w Słowenii i Polsce.
