Ekologizm postuluje odejście od antropocentryzmu, który przez wieki dominował w myśli politycznej Zachodu, na rzecz ekocentryzmu. Rzeczywistość jest postrzegana w sposób całościowy, holistyczny. Ekologizm dzieli się na nurty i doktryny. Łączy w sobie założenia innych ideologii, w szczególności: anarchistycznej, socjalistycznej, liberalnej i feministycznej. Do pierwszych partii Zielonych należą zachodnioniemiecka Die Grünen oraz francuska Les Verts. Do czterech filarów zielonej polityki zalicza się: ekologiczna odpowiedzialność, sprawiedliwość społeczna, demokracja oddolna i pacyfizm.

Environmentalism proposes moving away from anthropocentrism, which has dominated Western political thought for centuries, and replacing it with of ecocentrism. Reality is seen as a whole (holism). Environmentalism is divided into various streams and doctrines. It can easily connect with the assumptions of other ideologies, such as anarchism, socialism, liberalism and feminism. Among the first green parties were the West German Grunen and the French Les Verts. The four pillars of green politics are: ecological responsibility, social justice, grassroots democracy and non-violence.

This article deals with constructive theoretical efforts to resolve dilemmas, that are present in the debates about an Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) and the need to ecological rationalization of economic systems. Putting together the arguments, which are present in both debates, the article supports the ecosocial frame for UBI, that – combined with other political ecology’s instruments – is the one of the most promising perspectives of social transition towards emancipatory and sustainable direction. Sketched perspective of social change seems to be very profound and ambitious, but it simultaneously helps to adress the main obstacles to UBI’s implementation and to the serious consideration of ecological aspect in programming the social development.

Artykuł konfrontuje się z teoretycznymi próbami konstruktywnego rozwiązania dylematów, które pojawiają się na stykach debat o Bezwarunkowym Dochodzie Podstawowym (BDP) oraz tych dotyczących wymogów racjonalizacji systemów gospodarczych z przyczyn ekologicznych. Zestawiając ze sobą obecne w tych debatach racje, tekst argumentuje za ekospołecznym ujęciem BDP, które – korzystając z innych narzędzi ekologii politycznej – jest jedną z najbardziej obiecujących perspektyw transformacji społeczeństwa w kierunku emancypacyjnym i zrównoważonym. Zarysowana perspektywa zmiany przedstawia się jako bardzo ambitna i gruntowna, ale zarazem pozwalająca na jednoczesne zmierzenie się z kluczowymi barierami tak dla implementacji BDP, jak i dla realnego uwzględnienia w rozwoju społecznym aspektu ekologicznego.

The scientific work discusses the changes in the economy introduced in recent years, aimed at reducing its negative influence on the condition of the environment. In the first part, it is said about an action developed by the European Commission, known as the European Green Deal. In the following parts referring to green policy it is related to guaranteed careness of environment by the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and other laws. The last analyzed in this aspect were international organizations and their activities for ecology.

W pracy naukowej omówione zostały wprowadzone na przestrzeni ostatnich lat zmiany w gospodarce mające na celu zmniejszenie jej negatywnego wpływu na stań środowiska. W pierwszej części opracowano plan działania w tej kwestii Komisji Europejskiej nazywanym Europejskim Zielonym Ładem. W następnych podrozdziałach nawiązując do zielonej polityki rozwinięto kwestie dotyczące ochrony klimatu mające swe ugruntowanie w Konstytucji RP oraz ustawach. Ostatnimi przeanalizowanymi w tym aspekcie były organizacje międzynarodowe i ich działania na rzecz.
