W prezentowanym artykule autorka podjęła próbę refleksji nad kierunkiem zmian spojrzenia na teorię i praktykę poradnictwa w kontekście perspektywy konstruktywistycznej. Konstruktywizm traktuje jako perspektywę teoretyczną, dającą prawomocność nowej sylwetce doradcy oraz samemu działaniu poradniczemu. Przedstawia poradnictwo jako działanie społeczne, przekształcające się z aktywności narzucającej obowiązkowy wzór konstrukcji rzeczywistości społecznej oraz życiorysu człowieka, będącego jej uczestnikiem, w kierunku stawania się praktyką dającą przestrzeń do bycia twórcą konstruującym własną biografię.

In the presented article the Author attempts to consider the direction of changes to counselling practice and theory in the context of a constructivist perspective. Constructivism is treated as a theoretical perspective, giving strong legitimacy to the new counsellor and the counselling activity itself. Counselling is demonstrated to be a social activity, which changes from an activity forcing a model of social reality and personal biography of the participant into being the practice allowing him or her to construct their own biography.
