The article contains a dissertation over the suggested reform of the procedure for notarial activities in Poland by notaries. The analysis is based on an assessment of the adequacy of the submitted demands regarding the preparation of notarial deeds with the use of electronic means of distance communication. The text contains a detailed indication, while discussing specific ideas for changes that need to be refined in order to guarantee security in performing notarial activities with a distance and ensure their legality, including compliance with the provisions of the Law on Notaries. The article contains numerous critical remarks regarding the digitalization of the notary public, moreover, the concern of the notary community regarding the proposed changes were outlined and justified, while at the same time indicating the areas that require clarification, enabling the commencement of possible work on online notarial activities.

Artykuł zawiera analizę propozycji reformy trybu dokonywania czynności notarialnych w Polsce przez notariuszy. Analiza opiera się na ocenie adekwatności zgłaszanych postulatów dotyczących m.in. sporządzania aktów notarialnych z wykorzystaniem elektronicznych środków porozumiewania się na odległość. Tekst zawiera szczegółowe wskazanie z jednoczesnych omówieniem konkretnych pomysłów zmian, które wymagają dopracowania celem zagwarantowania bezpieczeństwa w dokonywaniu czynności notarialnych na odległość oraz zapewnienia ich legalności, w tym zgodności z przepisami ustawy z dnia 14 lutego 1991 roku – Prawo o notariacie. W artykule zawarte zostały liczne uwagi krytyczne dotyczące cyfryzacji notariatu, nadto nakreślono i uzasadniono obawy środowiska notarialnego dotyczące proponowanych zmian z jednoczesnym wskazaniem obszarów wymagających doprecyzowania umożliwiających rozpoczęcie ewentualnych prac nad dokonywaniem czynności notarialnych online.
