Addiction to alcohol is a chronic illness, progressive and ultimately fatal. It is a problem which deforms human thinking, feeling and self-image, of complex etiology. It is a social disease the successful treatment of which is significantly affected by other people and their support, readiness to share their own experiences, and openness. Psychotherapy of addiction involves the care of the physical sphere, work on changing attitudes and behaviours, as well as training the skills of constructively managing the emotional states, combined with work supporting personal development and human spirituality. Only such an integrated approach provides for effective help to alcohol addict.

W artykule zaproponowano badanie własności złożonych chaotycznych szeregów czasowych powstających przez wykonanie operacji na parach lub większej liczbie odpowiadających sobie elementów szeregów składowych. Wygodną metodą badania własności powstałych szeregów czasowych jest sporządzenie i analiza ich obrazów fazowych, które ujawniają cechy nie obserwowane bezpośrednio na wykresach czasowych rozpatrywanych szeregów.

In deterministic systems with non-linear relations there are chaotic courses observed. Simple non-linear mapping, like logistical or square mapping, generate chaotic time series in the iterative way. The paper presents a method of properties research of compound chaotic time series, which are created as a result of some operations, performed on couples or greater number of corresponding elements of component series. Making and analyzing the phase diagrams, which reveal properties not observed directly on timing diagrams of consider series, is a convenient method of research of properties of created time series.
