Anthropic Explanation

100%
EN
The paper attempts at estimation of the anthropic explanation in respect to its specific character and philosophical consequences of the strong anthropic principles.
EN
The article is dedicated to the legal and the political conclusions of Hobbes' theory in respect of their effectiveness in recognising the complicated relations between factual formal and procedural institutions of state and natural human rights. The polemical character of analysis in the article bases on the revision of a criticism of Hobbes' political philosophy which is repeatedly raised and which still concentrates on showing an alleged gap in Hobbes' conception of social covenant. The main point of the critical argument is to show the mistake which consists in deriving the rational system of legal principles from the instincts of a natural being and the legal and political order from 'mortal combat' which supposed to characterize the state of nature. The author's aim is to show invalidity of this argument, which in the last resort always bases on the misinterpretation, i.e., it omits or misinterprets the intersubjective sphere that defines - in Hobbes' philosophy - the relations between people, both on a social and political level, and the state of nature level.

Formulations of Strong Anthropic Principles

100%
EN
The article proposes a division of formulations of strong anthropic principles into general and specific. The division reveals diverse relationships between the existence of carbonic life in the Universe and its various properties. These relationships are necessary, conditioned by the understanding of the expression must, as well as causal and teleological. General formulations of the principles of both types focus on the factor of necessity. Specific formulations of the principles in question are called in the literature of participatory and final anthropic principle. The principles are named 'participatory' and 'final' principles since in explaining properties of the Universe causal and teleological roles of the observer are taken into account. In other words, teleological and causal relationships between cosmic coincidences and the fact of life existence in the Universe are postulated.
EN
The purpose of this article is to present the essence and the role of so-called anthropic explanation in modern cosmology. The explanatory value of this explanation depends on the character of relations between the cosmic coincidences and the fact of the existence of life. The strong anthropic principle determines conditions of a philosophical explanation, whose cognitive value depends on both the correctness of this principle and their logical coherence with the cosmic coincidences.
