We see sense where things are clear. Education in the field of composition introduces a rational factor into creation. The exercises in Danuta Wieczorek's studio are designed to make the students engage both intuition and intellect. Students of graphic arts are mostly involved in creating illusion on a plane. In the third semester they experience a creative shock. This time they build a three-dimensional layout out of lines. They construct an object from slats, give shape to the real space. Characteristic features of the layout are highlighted with colour. As a result of this experience, they create sophisticated abstract sculptures made of colourful sticks.
