Considerations of the historic grounds for forming the Multinational Corps Northeast (MNC NE) with the headquarters in Szczecin. An indirect reason for formation of MNC NE was the establishment of friendly diplomatic relations with Germany and the Kingdom of Denmark after 1989. The headquarters of the multinational corps in Szczecin was, however, not a new phenomenon, as the experience and solutions used by other detachments, as for example the multinational corps operating within NATO, and Eurocorps headquartered in Strasbourg were resorted to and drawn upon.

Rozważania na temat historycznych przesłanek powołania Wielonarodowego Korpusu Północ–Wschód z siedzibą w Szczecinie. Pośrednią przyczyną jego powołania było nawiązanie po 1989 r. przyjaznych stosunków dyplomatycznych z Niemcami i Królestwem Danii. Powstałe w Szczecinie Dowództwo Wielonarodowego Korpusu Północ–Wschód nie miało jednak charakteru nowego zjawiska, ponieważ bazowano na doświadczeniach i rozwiązaniach innych jednostek, na przykład wielonarodowych korpusów funkcjonujących w ramach NATO czy Eurokorpusu w Strasbourgu.
