Artistic activity is identified with the possibility of expressing oneself and it can be used to achieve specific goals, including those related to upbringing. In the publication, we will focus on showing the relationship between artistic activity and upbringing on the example of an artistic project carried out in a family-type children house called "Little Prince". We will focus on the description of the project and its effects, and on the theoretical context of implementing such activities.

Aktywność artystyczną utożsamia się z możliwością wyrażenie siebie i służyć ona może do realizacji określonych celów, w tym tych związanych z wychowaniem. W publikacji skupimy się na pokazaniu związku pomiędzy aktywnością artystyczną a wychowaniem na przykładzie projektu artystycznego, realizowanego w placówce opiekuńczo-wychowawczej typu rodzinnego „Mały Książę”. Skupimy się w niej na opisie projektu i jego efektów oraz ukazaniu teoretycznego kontekstu realizowania tego typu działań.

The article entitled Education of NGO’s members on the basis of research in third sector in the Nowosądecki district, is focusing on needs which has got the members of associations and foundations. In the text besides theoretical considerations about the third sector are presented the results of author’s research which were taken in 2012 on Nowosądecki district. Authors draw attention how important for adult education are training which are organized by non-governmental organizations. From the quality of the training- the selection of the content, form, duration, size and composition of the group - depends not only on the functioning of the organization but also regional development and consequently the development of the country.
