Ten artykuł opisuje zjawisko kulturowe, jakim jest selfie. Opisano w nim uwarunkowania psychologiczno- społeczne, a także tło historyczne. Ponadto wzbogacono aspekt teoretyczny badaniami na próbie 196 respondentów z terenu trzech uczelni. Zawarte w kwestionariuszu ankiety pytania próbowały znaleźć odpowiedź na wiele pytań, czasami nawet kontrowersyjnych, jak np. aspekt selfie w sytuacji intymnej. Tematem tego artykułu jest próba znalezienia odpowiedzi na pytanie: co jest przyczyną fenomenu selfie na całym świecie, w tym w Polsce. Jakie znaczenie ma selfie dla badanych (w wąskim zakresie) przeze mnie osób (single, mający partnera i po rozwodzie). To istotne, gdyż wiemy, że takie zdjęcia są zamieszczane w mediach społecznościowych, ale dlaczego i jak często - tego zazwyczaj nie wiemy. Interesowała mnie częstotliwość zamieszczania zdjęć przez badanych, obrabianie zdjęć programami graficznymi, zamieszczanie zdjęć w sytuacji intymnej jak i śledzenie polubień w serwisach społecznościowych. Badana próba pozwala spojrzeć na zjawisko i wyciągnąć pewne wnioski, co opisałem obszernie w podsumowaniu.

This article describes the cultural phenomenon of selfie. It describes psychological and social conditions as well as historical background. In addition, the theoretical aspect was enriched by research on a sample of 196 respondents from three universities. The questionnaire was aimed at finding answers to many questions, sometimes even controversial, such as the aspect of selfie in an intimate situation. The article aims to find the answer to the question: what is the cause of the phenomenon of selfie all over the world, including Poland. What is the meaning of selfie for the people I have examined (to a small extent) (singles, people who have a partner and are divorced). This is important because we know that such photos are posted in social media, but why and how often – we usually don't know that. I was interested in the frequency of posting photos by the respondents, processing photos with graphic programs, posting photos taken in an intimate situation as well as tracking “likes” in social media. The respondents enabled us to look at the phenomenon and draw some conclusions, which I described in detail in the summary.

This article deals with single paternity in Poland and attempts to support it. Raising offspring is in many opinions the domain of women, a man also brings up, but this issue is less often reflected in everyday publications. Single-parenting men find their niche in the support of various associations, but at the same time social acceptance for such people is growing. Nevertheless, womans can count more on help in lone parenthood than men.

Ten artykuł dotyczy samotnego ojcostwa w Polsce i prób jego wsparcia. Wychowanie potomstwa, to w wielu opiniach domena kobiet, mężczyzna też wychowuje, ale ta kwestia rzadziej ma odzwierciedlenie w publikacjach codziennych. Samotnie wychowujący dzieci mężczyźni znajdują swoją niszę we wsparciu różnych stowarzyszeń, ale rośnie równocześnie akceptacja społeczna dla takich osób. Niemniej na pomoc w samotnym rodzicielstwie mogą bardziej liczyć kobiety, aniżeli mężczyźni.
