W opracowaniu podjęto problem likwidacji w okresie Polski Ludowej placówek oświatowo-wychowawczych prowadzonych przez jednostki organizacyjne Kościoła katolickiego. Przedstawiony został przebieg procesu likwidacji oraz ocena prawna decyzji ówczesnych władz oświatowych i lokalowych dotyczących zamykania zakładów oraz przejmowania majątku ruchomego i nieruchomego. Ocena ta dotyczy tak kwestii o charakterze materialnoprawnym jak i proceduralnym.

The present study tackles the problem of the dissolution of educational care institutions managed by the organizational units of the Catholic Church at the time of the People’s Republic of Poland. The article presents the process of dissolution and the legal assessment of the decisions taken by the then educational and housing authorities with a view to closing down the institutions and taking over the movable and immovable property. The assessment concerns both substantive and procedural matters.
