The article presents physical and psychological consequences of medical experiments conducted on women and children by German doctors in concentration camps. The issues discussed by the author concern experimenters (i.e. the motifs, the awareness of the committed acts and the methods of applying the acquired knowledge) and include the problems of medical ethics, psychology, sociology and history, which highlights their interdisciplinary character.
