Rodzina i dom rodzinny odgrywają niezwykle istotną rolę w życiu każdego dziecka. Są przestrzenią, w której najpełniej dokonuje się jego rozwój osobowy. Stąd pojawia się pytanie, czy typ rodziny, z której dziecko pochodzi, może być czynnikiem warunkującym profil jego obrazu świata. Jakie są płaszczyzny i zakresy, na których ewentualna zależność mogłaby się zarysować? Odpowiedzi na to pytanie można szukać w oparciu o wyniki przeprowadzonego eksperymentu asocjacyjnego, który jest metodą umożliwiającą diagnozowanie – poprzez pryzmat języka – obrazu świata dziecka. Uzyskany tą drogą materiał badawczy pozwala dostrzec istotne różnice w obrazie Rodziny i Domu dzieci z rodzin pełnych i niepełnych, zarówno w aspekcie ilościowym, jak i jakościowym.

The family and the family home play an extremely important role in every child’s life. They are the space in which his or her personal development takes place most fully. Hence, the question emerges whether the type of family from which a child comes can be a factor conditioning the profile of his or her image of the world. What are the areas and scopes in which the possible relationship could show? The answer to this question can be sought based on the results of the conducted associative experiment, which is a method enabling the diagnosis – through the prism of language – of a child’s image of the world. The research material obtained in this way indicates significant differences in the image of the Family and Home of children from complete and single-parent families, in both the quantitative and qualitative aspects.

A linguistic picture of the world is such a vision of reality existing in the minds of people forming a language community which is fixed in words. The results of empirical research presented in this paper lead to the conclusion that no elements of the so-called striptease culture or confessing culture, or the phenomena of de-tabooisation or eroticisation, perceived as inherent traits of the contemporary mass culture, are observed within the love and eroticism prototypes – components of the linguistic world view of the women in early adulthood examined in this study.

Językowy obraz świata stanowi utrwaloną w słowach taką wizję rzeczywistości, jaka istnieje w świadomości osób stanowiących wspólnotę językową. Zaprezentowane w niniejszym tekście wyniki badań empirycznych prowadzą do spostrzeżenia, iż w obrębie prototypu zarówno miłości, jak i erotyzmu – wycinków językowego obrazu świata objętych badaniami kobiet w wieku wczesnej dorosłości – nie zauważa się ani elementów tzw. kultury obnażania czy kultury zwierzeń, ani zjawiska detabuizacji i zerotyzowania, które są postrzegane jako immanentne właściwości współczesnej kultury masowej.
