Terminu Industrie 4.0 użyto po raz pierwszy w roku 2011, podczas targów technologii, innowacji i automatyki w Hanowerze. Przedstawiono tam projekt strategii rozwoju gospodarki niemieckiej, w którym kluczową rolę miała odegrać nowatorska komputeryzacja procesów produkcyjnych. Po upływie 7 lat od tej zapowiedzi specjaliści oceniają możliwości tych zmian, także w warunkach polskiej gospodarki. Autorzy artykułu koncentrują się na zmianach w zarządzaniu zasobami ludzkimi oraz na możliwości mierzenia osiąganego ładu (porządku) funkcjonowania organizacji wobec wyzwań globalizującej się gospodarki.

The Industrie 4.0 was first used in 2011 at the Hannover trade fair. It presents a draft strategy for the development of the German economy, in which the innovative computerization of production processes is to play a key role. 7 years have passed since this announcement and specialists assess the possibilities of these changes, also in the conditions of the Polish economy. The authors of the article focus on changes in human resource management and the ability to measure the achieved order of the organization's functioning against the challenges of a globalizing economy.
