La zone Gaza joue un rôle important dans la politique contemporaine. L’importance de ce morceau du littoral, qu’on se disputait depuis toujours, fait l’objet de cet article. L’auteur puise dans les documents historiques de l’Ancien Egypte. À la lumière de ceux-ci, la riche et difficile à reconstruire l’histoire de Gaza, se révèle encore mieux. Sans cette ésquisse basé sur les documents historiques, il est impossible d’apprécier les valeurs de cette zone de la Côte, aussi bien que son histoire mouvementée aujourd’hui et jadis.

Artykuł stanowi pretekst do debaty nad istotą zaufania i jego znaczenia w środowisku pierwotnym i wtórnym człowieka. Jak się okazuje, pomimo coraz niższego stopnia zaufania do instytucji, czy organizacji, jest ono niezbędne do prawidłowego funkcjonowania w społeczeństwie. Najwłaściwszym wydaje się ujęcie zaufania w kategorii wartości. Budowanie klimatu zaufania rozpoczyna się w środowisku rodzinnym i to rodzice są pierwszymi osobami, którym ufają dzieci. Od postawy rodziców oraz ich ufności we własne umiejętności i możliwości, a także od nieustającego procesu samokształcenia zależy, czy dzieci wejdą w świat ludzi dorosłych z przekonaniem we własne kompetencje i zdolności. Bez nich zaś nie można mówić o zaufaniu do samego siebie, jak i do innych ludzi.

The purpose of the article is to discuss the essence of trust and its importance in the primary and secondary human environment. As it turns out, despite the ever lower level of confidence in institutions or organizations, trust is necessary in order for people to function properly in society. It seems most appropriate to approach trust as a value category. Building a climate of trust begins in the family environment and it is parents who are the first persons that children trust. The attitude of parents and their confidence in their own skills and abilities, combined with a constant process of self-improvement, are the factors which decide whether children enter the world of adults with confidence in their own competences and abilities, without which one cannot speak of trust in either oneself or other people.
