Aim. The aim of the research is to present Berta Zuckerkandl's views on Polish art in her press texts. Methods. The methods used during the research are those specific to the discipline of literary studies, art history, the skopos method, and the translator's apparatus. Results. Discernment in Berta Zuckerkandl's texts on Polish art is not sufficient. The texts have not been translated and analyzed. Conclusions. Berta Zuckerkandl was the only one of the great art critics of her time to devote so much space to Polish art. Her knowledge of art, artists and Polish culture is extremely broad. It elevates Polish art, puts it on an equal footing with other artists and analyzes their works. Key words: Berta Zuckerkandl, Polish art, criticism of Zuckerkandl, Polish painting

Cel badań. Celem badań jest przedstawienie poglądów Berty Zuckerkandl dotyczących polskiej sztuki w jej tekstach prasowych. Metoda badań. Metodami użytymi podczas badań są te właściwe dla dyscypliny literaturoznawstwa, historii sztuki, metoda „skoposu”, aparatu tłumacza. Wyniki badań. Rozeznanie w tekstach Berty Zuckerkandl o sztuce polskiej nie jest wystarczające. Teksty nie zostały przetłumaczone i zanalizowane. Wnioski. Berta Zuckerkandl jako jedyna z wielkich krytyków artystycznych swojego czasu poświęciła tak wiele miejsca sztuce polskiej. Jej znajomość sztuki, artystów i kultury polskiej jest niezwykle szeroka. Wynosi ona sztukę polską, stawia na równi z innymi artystami i analizuje ich dzieła.
