This paper presents the most important and frequent topics discussed during 27 open debates organized and conducted by Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) as a part of the Old-Age Pension Policy Review 2016 – Security through Responsibility. The list of topics comprise: unfavourable demographic trends, challenges to the financing of pension system, evaluation of Open Pension Funds, adjustments to pensionable age, possibility of the introduction of non-contributory old-age pension scheme dependent solely on age and citizenship criteria, the need to promote and educate society in matters of social insurance schemes in Poland

Artykuł prezentuje poglądy i opinie ekspertów, wygłoszone podczas 27 debat zorganizowanych przez Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych w ramach przeglądu polskiego systemu emerytalnego. Przedstawiono najważniejsze problemy, o których dyskutowano, m.in. znalazły się niekorzystne wskaźniki demograficzne, finansowanie systemu emerytalnego, otwarte fundusze emerytalne, wprowadzenie obniżonego wieku emerytalnego i emerytury obywatelskiej, konieczność edukacji z zakresu ubezpieczeń społecznych.
