This article is a conclusion of reflections on issues related to psychological predispositions of self-destructive behaviors in children and adolescents. Groups, which are vulnerable to manipulation and social impact are especially young people. Historically, there are many examples of sects and social groups whose minors became victims. Suicide is one of the major causes of child and adolescent death. Due to the dangers that occur in the present day, it is worth to pay attention to preventive measures directed mainly to the youngest representatives of society.

The aim of this article is an attempt to analyze modern threats in social awareness. Particular attention will be paid to loneliness, which is associated with various factors that may relate to interpersonal disorders, addiction, social pathologies, suicides or mental diseases. Reflection on the human condition in the twenty-first century can not ignore the spheres related to the issues of new media. Modernity is connected with the development of civilization or modernization of everyday life. Feeling negative emotions is associated with consequences that are undesirable for a person, such as suffering, insecurity, lack of sense of agency, low self-esteem, suicide attempts and other self-destructive behaviors. Often, the lack of social support and the ability to cope with difficulties are a source of suffering, burnout, despair or lack of satisfaction and willingness to do anything. Various forms of support are designed to ensure that help a person in achieving the desired objectives and provide psychological comfort, even in unfavorable circumstances.

This article discusses about the usefulness of projection techniques in an interdisciplinary sense. For many years, representatives of various fields have been dealing with the diagnosis, methodology and interpretation of human behavior. Therefore, using projection methods are a situation in which a person assigns individual incentives to any stimulus material. These tests allow to determine its methods of mental functioning, because it depends on what individual has needs, values or desires. The relevance of the projection technique depends on the extent to which the subject is unaware that during the study reveals his own beliefs, impulses and emotions. The results of projection tests should be interpreted by a psychologist with extensive experience in this area, because the lack of sufficient knowledge and competence can lead to errors affecting the results of the examined person.
