W artykule scharakteryzowano przypadek likwidacji Wojskowych Służb Inforacyjnych w kontekście cywilnej kontroli służb specjalnych w Polsce. Zasadniczą tezą jest wskazanie, że przedmiotowa likwidacja obnażyła fasadowość i nieskuteczność mechanizmów tej kontroli. Przyniosła ona także wiele wymiernych szkód identyfikowanych w związku z bezpieczeństwem państwa.

The article describes the case of the liquidation of the Military Information Services in the context of civilian control over the secret services in Poland. The fundamental thesis is the indication that this liquidation exposed the superficiality and ineffectiveness of the mechanisms of such control. It also brought many measurable losses identified in connection with state security.
